Accountant & Senior Accountant

Experience Required(UAE Experience Mandatory): 1–2 Years for Accountant, 2-3 Years for Senior Accountant

 

Qualifications

– MBA in Finance, Inter CA, or CMA

 

Job Summary:

We seek a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT and CT regulations, and financial reporting. The candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations independently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Accounting & Finance

– Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger

– Record daily financial transactions, including expenses, invoices, and payments

– Prepare bank and cash reconciliations

– Prepare month-end and year-end closing reports, financials, and budget forecasting

– Prepare financial statements and management reports

– Prepare and file UAE VAT returns

– Coordinate with auditors, banks, and investors

– Maintain and prepare investor contracts and coordination with investors

 

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

– Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments

– Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments

– Reconcile customer and vendor accounts

– Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders

 

Skills Required:

– Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and practices

– Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ZOHO, CRM, or similar)

– Strong MS Excel skills

– Good understanding of financial reporting

– Attention to detail and accuracy

– Ability to meet deadlines

– Good communication skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred (Added Advantage):

– Experience in audit support

– Knowledge of corporate tax (UAE)

– Experience in investment companies
