We are supporting a confidential client with hiring a Financial Controller to lead and stabilize the finance function during a key transition phase. This is a senior role focused on governance, financial oversight, commercial insight, and control, not transactional processing.

Key Responsibilities

>Lead the finance function and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
>Oversee month-end & year-end, review journals, reconciliations, and cut-off
>Own budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning
>Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and reporting structures
>Provide commercial support across events/projects (margins, costing, profitability)
>Present financial performance insights to leadership
>Manage compliance: VAT, audit preparation, statutory filings
>Work closely with operations to ensure financial clarity and discipline

Ideal Profile
>Experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager (not an accountant role)
>Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
>Able to implement structure and improve financial governance
>Confident working in a fast-paced, project-driven events environment
>Strong analytical and commercial skills
>Immediate availability required
>Arabic speaking advantageous
